The waiting list is open for new registrations. 
Click the button above to register. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and we will use the google form timestamp to determine order. You can register for a standard ticket or a camping ticket or for both. If you choose to register for both, then you will be placed into the waiting list according to the time of submission, and then offered the first ticket type that becomes available. Should you wish to not take that offer, then you will drop to the bottom of both waiting lists. 

Waiting list ticket holders will be contacted to arrange payment of their deposit, as soon as possible, and then the regular payment schedule will apply. 
Ticket prices are:
Standard ticket: £485
Camping ticket: £275

What you get

Accommodation on the Island from Thursday 23rd April 2020 to Saturday 25th April; and accommodation on the mainland on the evening of the 25th. Ferry travel to and from the Island. Lunch and dinner on the Thursday; breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday; and breakfast, lunch and dinner on the Saturday. A character crafted to your own game themes and preferences, with relationships built in with the chance to personalise it further, and a series of organiser led plots and storylines.

 

Ticket Types

There are several ticket types available. All tickets will include the scheduled meals and beyond accomodation, will offer an identical game experience with other participants.

Standard: This will cost £485 and includes indoor accommodation. There are 70 of these tickets available.

Camping: These cost £275 and will involve camping in your own tent. There are 25 of these tickets available. You may register for both standard priced tickets and camping tickets.

Concessionary: These cost £150 and are identical in all other ways to a standard ticket. Our intention is to allow people who would not otherwise be able to afford it, a chance to attend the LARP. If you cannot afford the other ticket types for whatever reason then these are the tickets for you. There are 4 of these tickets available. Please note that you can not enter both standard and concessionary lotteries.

 

Booking process

Booking will open on 1st June at 23:00 BST and be open for nine days, closing at 23:00 BST on 9th June. Anyone who signs up in this period will have an equal chance of attending the LARP.

There will be a booking form where we will gather basic information from you, including which ticket type you wish to sign up for.

If oversubscribed then a transparent lottery will take place with all registrations given equal weight in that lottery.

 

Ticket lottery

Apart from the tickets already assigned, and assuming a ticket type is over subscribed, there will be a lottery for the remaining tickets. This will be done by an automated website (random.org). The lottery for full priced spots will take place at 20:00 BST on the 11th June. The concessionary lottery will take place immediately thereafter.

The camping ticket lottery will take place after both others have been held, should we have more registrations than we have camping spaces.

If you wish, you may opt to be entered into the draw with a single other person. Both must state this on their booking forms for it to be accepted, and a single entry in the lottery will be allocated to the pair.

Anyone who does not get a place in the LARP will be placed on the waiting list if they selected that option on their booking form.

 

Payment Terms

Once you have been offered a place, you will need to pay a non refundable deposit of £100 to secure your attendance prior to 30th June.

The next payment is due on 31st August, and is £175 or the remainder of the ticket price if less.

The final payment is due before the end of the year and is the remainder of full ticket price (£210)

If any payment is not received by the specified date then your place will be offered to someone on the waiting list unless you arrange otherwise in advance with the organisers.

 

Cancellation policy

If the cancellation is prior to 1st November then the ticket will be refunded in full (except the deposit) and it will be offered to someone on the waiting list. There is to be no reselling of tickets except through the organisers as we would like to offer tickets to our waiting list.

If the cancellation is prior to 1st March, then the ticket will only be refunded if an alternate can be found to take your place.

Any cancellations after this date will not receive a refund.

 

Travel insurance

Due to the nature of the accessibility of the island being only by boat, there is a chance that the event may have to be called off at the last minute due to weather or similar factors.

The event is fully covered by cancellation insurance that will enable us to refund all ticket costs. However, this won’t cover any other expenses you have incurred.

Therefore, it is strongly advised that all participants procure insurance to cover their travel and accommodation costs outside of the LARP itself.

 

Problematic people

We are aware that our hobby is, regrettably, sometimes a haven for people who exhibit problematic behaviours. We would appreciate it if there are names that you consider to be a danger to the larp community in general, if you would include them in the appropriate place on the form. We also understand that sometimes there are people whose attendance at an event, whilst not dangerous to the wider community, causes sufficient personal discomfort that you may not wish to attend if they are going to be there. We have a separate space for these names. All names in these contexts will be kept private and we do not need reasons or explanations from you.

Personally identifiable information of property owners

We collect information from which you can be identified, such as name and email address in order to operate the game, respond to your requests and provide you with information, improve our level of services and the content of our website, and for marketing and internal purposes, but only when it is asked for and/or you voluntarily submit it to us. Unless you otherwise consent, we will only use personal information for the purpose for which it was collected, or as may otherwise be permitted by law, for example, to the extent:


    •    required by compulsion of law;
    •    expressly permitted under any agreement with you; or
    •    to lessen a serious threat to a person’s health or safety.


Sharing Personally Identifiable Information with Third Parties
We will not sell or rent personally identifiable information to any third party for any purpose. We will collect and use personally identifiable information in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.  We may share information with third parties to provide us with support services in connection with the game (e.g.dietary requirements to caterers, travel companies, and so forth) and those parties may have access to your personal information to enable them to provide those services to us. Sometimes we use third parties to provide us with support services in connection with our website and marketing activities and those parties may have access to your personal information to enable them to provide those services to us. We require all such third parties to meet our standards of data protection, and they are prohibited from using the information for their own marketing purposes. In certain special cases, we may disclose your personally identifiable information, if:


    •    we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm to you, us or other users of this website; or
    •    if we believe the law requires it, or in response to any demand by authorities in connection with a criminal investigation, or pending civil case or administrative investigation.


Non-personally identifiable information
We also collect non-personally identifiable information to track data such as the number of visits to our website. We use this information to understand how our visitors use our website so that we may improve it and the services we offer.

We use a variety of security procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. We make every reasonable effort to prevent loss, misuse or alteration to data. We make no assurance and will not be liable in relation to any breach of security or unintended loss or disclosure of information due to the website being linked to the internet.

Retention, deletion and anonymisation of personal data
